Who is Jeff Duckett?

Jeff is a passionate member of the current Kennesaw City Council, finishing out his first term, and a member of the greater community committed to working to improve our quality of life:

  • Continuously working to improve his contribution to our city through leadership training such as Leadership Cobb (2013-2014 class) and the Regional Leadership Institute (2011 graduate) to bring better value to our citizens.  In addition to improving his leadership skills, these courses have helped him to understand the value of working together as a region to improve our infrastructure

  • Active Member of Summit Baptist Church, currently serving as Elder, and previously served as a Deacon and a Personnel Steward.  Active in various aspects of the Children’s Ministry, including the AWANA program and teaching 3rd graders in their Sunday School class.  Serves annually as a camp leader to our youth Summer Camp and at Summit’s annual VBS.  The Church and the children are some of my favorite service opportunities. Jeff's faith is strong and he leans on it a lot, but that is what God is here for. He is here for us and to provide all that we need.
